I am a former collegiate athlete who has competed at high levels in many sports. Out of high school, I received multiple Division 1 basketball scholarships and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles, but chose to play baseball at the junior college level. I went on to help lead my teams to top 20 finishes in my first two years and finished my sophomore season in the top 5 for wins for D1 JUCO pitchers. A shoulder injury derailed my professional baseball career soon after that. After taking some time away from sports, I soon realized that I needed to get back into shape. I was 6’5” and weighed a slight 195.
I earned my certified trainer designation through nationally renowned ISSA and I am currently pursuing additional training certifications for SPN (Specialist in Performance Nutrition) and SSC (Specialist in Sports Conditioning) along with finishing my Bachelors degree in a health care occupation.
With plenty of hard work over the next few years, I added 35 lean pounds to my 6’5” frame, which is now at 230 pounds. I’ve learned a great deal over the time of my body transformation and cycles of “bulking” and “cutting”. I understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and realize that all of us want to spend our lives with the people that we care about for as long as possible. Through my custom diet and training plans, I can help you learn, first hand, how to maintain a positive, healthy and productive lifestyle that you can carry with you throughout the rest of your life.
